Complimentary Consultation
Your first visit at Gregg Orthodontics will give us the opportunity to get to know you and introduce ourselves! The American Association of Orthodontists recommends all children receive an orthodontic check-up no later than age 7, and Dr. Gregg supports this recommendation by providing this important service at no charge.
Michelle Miller, our Treatment Coordinator, will greet you and begin by taking any necessary diagnostic records so that Dr. Gregg can determine the best course of orthodontic treatment. Complete diagnostic records typically include a medical/dental history, clinical examination, computer study models of the teeth, photos of the patient’s face and teeth, and digital X-rays. This information is used to develop a custom treatment plan for each patient. At Gregg Orthodontics, we use the latest in digital X-ray technology, which reduces the radiation exposure to the patient by up to 90%!
After Dr. Gregg has completed your comprehensive clinical exam and evaluated your records, he will discuss any needed treatment with you in detail, including the cost for your particular case.
Regular Appointments
The appointment when you get your appliances (braces, Invisalign, etc.) usually takes about 1 hour. You’ll then see us at regular intervals 4 to 8 weeks apart for an adjustment, which generally takes 20 to 30 minutes. Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately.
Payment Information
Fees
You will be able to discuss fees and payment options before treatment begins. We have several payment plans to suit different budgets, and we will work with you to make treatment affordable.
- If full payment is made at the onset of treatment, we will offer a fee discount. (If you have insurance, we will offer a discount for payment of your portion of the fee that will not be covered by insurance.)
- To fit your individual needs, financial arrangements can be made to extend your payments over a period of months.
- For your convenience, we accept payment by Visa and Mastercard.
Insurance
If you have insurance, we will help you to determine the coverage you have available. Additionally, we will assist you in filing your claim and handling insurance questions from our office on your behalf.
